If you would like to have a tailored Hypnobirthing programme to meet your needs and discuss your personal circumstances in the comfort of your own home* then this course is for you.
You will receive a full Hypnobirthing and antenatal education about what happens to your body and your baby's journey during labour and birth and in the 'golden hour' after birth. I will guide you through deeply relaxing self-hypnosis exercises and visualisations that you will practice during class and between sessions. We will also do some exercises to release any fears or negative emotions you have around birth, so that you feel positive and empowered to make the right choices for you and your family around the birth of your baby. When the time comes to have your baby everything you have learned and practiced should harmonise together; so you can listen to and work with your body with confidence to birth your baby calmly and safely.
I can run a private course in my home in the day time on a weekday morning. However if you live in the Brighton, Hove or Portslade area and would prefer an evening course I can come to you at no extra cost, except to cover parking. I am happy to do a group booking at a negotiated fee if you would like to organise a course with another couple. You are welcome to do the classes alone, however I do encourage you to bring a birth partner so you can practice the techniques together and support each other throughout your birthing journey.
The best time to start a course is in your second trimester (from 16 to 30 weeks). To get the most out of your course it is advised that you practice the skills every day until you go into labour.
